Okay, here is 'Hammer Smashed Face' by Cannibal Corpse. It's a
bit difficult to hear the guitar at some bits (!) so I'm not
claiming that it is perfect.

Please send any corrections to abx@dcs.ed.ac.uk.

Riff 11 — The slow grinding one
~~~~~~~
I———————————————————————————————I  On the original, the two guitars do
I———————————————————————————————I  a trill as indicated by the 4343434.
I———————————————————————————————I  But, if you just play the 2 on the
I——————————43434343—————————————I  bottom string and give it a lot of
I——2—2—2————————————————————7——I  vibrato is sounds kinda similar and
I——0—0—0———2~~~~~~~————1—1——7——I  is a lot easier to do.
  PM———+              PM—+
And here's how to put it all together...
The introduction
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Riff 1, played 3 times then riff 2.
Riff 1a, played 3 times then riff 2.
Riff 1a, played 3 times then riff 2.
Then for the last few bars, pick the open E string fast with palm muting.

The bass solo
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The verse
~~~~~~~~~
Riff 3, played 4 times
Riff 4, played 4 times
Riff 3, played 4 times

Riff 5, played 8 times

Chorus
~~~~~~
Fill 6, once
Riff 7, played twice
Riff 8, played 4 times
Fill 6, once
Riff 7, played twice.
The rest of it
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Riff 5, played 8 times

Riff 1, played 3 times
Play this 4 times: Riff 9, played 3 times then Riff 10 once.

Riff 4, 4 times
Riff 3, 4 times

Riff 5, 8 times

Chorus, as above

Riff 5, 8 times

Riff 1, 3 times.

Riff 11, 12 times.

Then come the two chorus riffs, 7 and 8, but with drastically altered timing.
Listen to the recording, and you should see what I mean.

Riff 8, 4 times
Riff 5, 8 times

Riff 1, 3 times

Then an abrupt finish on E5.

Enjoy!
