Good Charlotte : Chronicles of Life and Death

Am F C
Is anybody listening?
         G Am
Can they hear me when I call?
Am F C
I'm shooting signals in the air,
         G Am
'Cause I need somebody's help
         F C
I can't make it on my own,
       G Am
So I'm giving up myself
Am F C
Is anybody listening, listening?

[Same chord pattern] Am—F—C—G
I've been stranded here and I'm miles away
Making signals hoping they save me
I lock myself inside these walls
'Cause out there I'm always wrong
I don't think I'm gonna make it
Dm Am G
So while I'm sitting here on the eve of my defeat
Dm Am G
I write this letter and hope it saves me

Chorus: Am—F—C—G
Is anybody listening?
Can they hear me when I call?
I'm shooting signals in the air
'Cause I need somebody's help
I can't make it on my own
So I'm giving up myself
Is anybody listening, listening?

[Same chord pattern] Am—F—C—G
I'm stuck in my own head and I'm oceans away
Would anybody notice if I chose to stay?
I'll send an S.O.S. tonight
And wonder if I will survive
How in the hell did I get so far away this time?
So now I'm sitting here
The time of my departure's near
I say a prayer please, someone save me

Bridge:
         Am
I'm lost here
                      C
I can't make it on my own
                  G
I don't wanna die alone
          Dm
I'm so scared
         Am
Drowning now
         G
Reaching out
        F Dm
Holding on to everything I love
       Am
Crying out
       G
Dying now
          F ...
Need some help

[Same chord pattern] Am—F—C—G
Is anybody listening?
Can they hear me when I call?
Shooting signals in the air
I need somebody's help
I can't make it on my own
I'm giving up myself
Is anybody listening?

Comments:
If you still haven't noticed, there is only one set of chords to be played throughout
the song. That makes it insanely easy. The strumming; however, is pretty tricky but
manageable. Just listen to the song closely. Go nuts!
