Switchfoot — Daisy (ver 4) Chords

  Rate this tab:
Daisy by Switchfoot

In my opinion this song is one of Switchfoot's finest. The way this is tabbed isn't
how Jon Foreman plays it on the CD, I admit, but it still sounds decent this way.

Tuning
eb or db?
Bb
Gb
db
Ab
db

This song can easily be played in the much more convenient drop D. The tabbing is
the same, so you don't need to worry about changing any of that. If you care about the chords,
you have to do is ignore the flats. So Db would become D and so on. The only catches are
and B, which would become F and C when "sharpened".
One last note:I think Jon Foreman may tune the 1st string, high eb, down to high db, but
not sure. I'll leave that up to you to expiriment with. Enjoy, and feel free to
=)

*The last beat in the intro is the first beat of the verse on "Daisy...".
Also, the strumming is fairly simple for the verse, so I just tabbed the chord once each
it is played. The lyrics indicate when the chords are played.

Intro x 2

*All the verses are identical in chord structure, so copying everything will only take
space. I'll still give you the lyrics, though.

Verse 2

Chorus
*On the CD I believe he goes through a picking part in the chorus which I haven't
but here are the chords. It still souds decent.
A quick tip: the chorus has the same basic finger structures almost the whole time. It
only a matter of sliding things around.

I encourage you to listen to the CD to figure out rhythms and things like that, just
in mind that it is not in the convenient drop D. Hope this helps!
